We may plan a great party, but do you know anything about our serious side? Take a look at this conference we planned in July…
As far as iconic venues go, One Marylebone is up there with one of the best. Looming over Marylebone Road, it is immediately impressive. The pastel green interiors are soft and delicate yet the distinguishing stain glass windows are prominent and proud.
The content for this conference was designed to be engaging and visually impressive. With such a focus on content we worked with Velvet Living who are one of our trusted suppliers. They only use state of the art kit and knowledgeable crew. The set they built for the stage was designed to be simplistic so the focus was on the screen. By using relay screens we ensured every delegate, at every angle could stay involved.
Just as importantly, we knew we needed to keep delegates engaged, hydrated and well fed. We made sure each table had access to all the conference essentials as well as having plenty of snack stations!
We bought delegates back to their school roots by providing each table with a supply of personalised notebooks, A3 brainstorming pads and multi coloured pens meaning when inspiration struck them they were well prepared. We know the importance of creating a space that drives creativity so we made sure the room was bright and filled with plants dotted around the room.
For the staff survey rotation we wanted delegates to get moving around so we encouraged guests to walk around and make their comments, encourage discussion and debate as they did so.
The day was a complete success, delegates were energised and enthusiastic so they enjoyed the work session immensely.
We also planned an incredible party for them later in the evening…
The client had this to say:
“We cannot deny that we are a challenge, with strong views of the direction we want to move in with every event and an ever changing list of ‘must haves’ and ‘wishes’ and Miryam took everything in her stride, evolving her personal style to compliment us as individuals as well as a company as a whole. Due to this welcoming, personable approach, we also found ourselves transitioning from a client/consultant style relationship to a real friendship, which can only have a positive effect on an event like ours.
The outcome was a hugely successful event that pushed the boundaries of previous events and certainly had the wow factor. Feedback throughout the business has been overwhelmingly positive. Without Miryam and the KIN London team, we could not have achieved such a great result and we very much hope to work with them again in the near future”
